APMEX Adds Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl Silver Coins

APMEX’s series of Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG silver coins continues to grow. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh!, the Oklahoma-based retailer of precious metal products has begun offering silver coins featuring colorized TCG artwork of Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. Both coins contain one ounce of 0.999 pure silver. With a maximum mintage of only 500 each, these limited edition coins are not only fun collectibles but also tangible investments for fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.

Each 39 mm Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl coin arrives in its own tamper-evident plastic case measuring 2.5 x 3.25 inches. Their cases are individually numbered and decorated with the same TCG artwork seen on the coin along with the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game 25th Quarter Century logo.

The reverse side of the coins features the “It’s Your Move” catchphrase logo, the Yu-Gi-Oh! logo, and the public seal of the Pacific island nation of Niue. These coins are legal currency on the island and have a value of two Niuean Dollars each.

Don’t be surprised if the supply of these new TCG coins don’t last. Last year, APMEX released Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician, and Dark Magician Girl silver coins featuring their anime key art and those have long since sold out. (The Dark Magician Girl and Maximillion Pegasus set is still available, however.)

APMEX’s first TCG silver coin, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, is also still available but APMEX has raised its price since last month’s write-up.
