Gong hugging Yuya enthusiastically in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V episode 38

March has been a great month for the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, which are getting picked up by more and more networks for free viewing — and not just for fans in the United States.

Amazon Prime Video is now streaming the English dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters season 4 and season 5. This follows the addition of seasons 1 through 3 in January. Furthermore, Amazon Prime now also has Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V season 1 in English.

Not to be outdone, Netflix has added seasons 3 through 5 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. After years of only carrying the first two seasons, the world’s most dominant video subscription network at last has the entire series! Netflix is also swinging into action with Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V season 1 for its American audience. But — viewers in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom have access to both seasons 1 and 2! (In the U.S., season 2 is still only on Hulu as of this writing.)

Finally, the American Spanish-language children’s TV channel ¡Sorpresa! (“Surprise!”) announced that it has acquired the broadcast rights to Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s. The dueling will take place weekdays at 6 pm ET/3 pm PT starting April 2. Check SorpresaTV.com for more network and scheduling information.

And as reported earlier this month, there is plenty more Yu-Gi-Oh! to watch on Tubi TV and YouTube.

  1. Sounds like a good day.

  2. Interesting.
As far as we knew, it would only be the third and fourth seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters that would be made available on Netflix.
I just did not understand what went wrong for Netflix from Brazil to have canceled the last-minute release, at least from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, which continues with the same 2 seasons available since 2015.

And soon the ARC-V should also be available on YouTube, as indicated by this playlist already created on the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! channel:

  3. Another reason to hate Konami. Kids don’t watch the newer animes sadly.

Also, the creator of Yugioh doesn’t believe in cash money prizes.

Which is the weirdest mindset ever?

Looks like Yugioh will die just like MGS!

  4. You know what would be great? If you didn’t spam your random, monetized YouTube video that has nothing to do with this post.

Also, I’ve never seen any proof that Kazuki Takahashi “doesn’t believe in cash money prizes.” I would be more than happy to be proven wrong though.

  6. Of course. 4K Media has been putting VRAINS ads in licensing publications since 2017. Hopefully some networks around the world have taken note and have picked up the show.

  7. I don’t remember ever spamming videos left and right? I only posted one video and that’s it. Not like I was posting a random video that had nothing to do with Yugioh. It was Yugioh related. But I guess it wasn’t the right video to post here. Sorry, RaveGrl. :(
