Yu-Gi-Oh! has joined a select number of anime titles in getting its own SteelBook! Today, Cinedigm Entertainment re-releases Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time on Blu-ray in a lovely, collectible SteelBook case. The glossy gold case features brand-new key art of Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei on the cover. This artwork hasn’t been seen on any other release of this movie, not even in Japan. Inside the case is Yugi’s glowing Millennium Puzzle alongside some Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The contents of the Blu-ray disc are identical to Cinedigm’s original Blu-ray release of the movie in 2014. The disc contains the movie in both English and Japanese.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time SteelBook is available now from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, and many other video retailers for a suggested retail price of $24.99. UPC: 767685157343.

  1. Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time has already had several physical media releases in the United States and English-speaking countries, but to date 4K Media has not bothered to make 1 release of the same film in other non-English speaking countries, such as Brazil, which only had a discreet availability in streaming services and still for a limited time.
How to send kind of suggestions straight to it, ravegrl? Because it is noticeable that outside the English speaking countries (with few exceptions like Italy), it still acts in a controversial way. The email info@yugioh.com seems to be of restricted use, so I checked.

  2. Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time will only get a release in Brazil if there is a distributor in Brazil who wants to release it. You should appeal to your local distributors and let them know that you want it, and encourage other fans to do the same. If there is no interest from distributors, then 4K Media has no one to sell the movie to. Asking 4K Media for it won’t accomplish anything.

  3. Are you sure BBT was released on home video in Italy? I haven’t heard about this before.

  4. So does this release still has stereo audio for the Japanese track? If so that’s a shame, given how a 5.1 track exists from day 1. Also, stereo audio for a movie is something you would expect from a 90’s or early 2000’s home release lol

  5. Yes, the contents of the disc are the same as Cinedigm’s original BD release.
