Another free Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! manga campaign from Shueisha is underway again! To celebrate the premiere of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions this past Saturday, the publisher is letting readers peruse four volumes of the new Yu-Gi-Oh! Color Edition, as well as the first volume of Yu-Gi-Oh! R, GX, 5D’s, and ZEXAL — all for free through May 9.

This time, the free books are not available on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform, and most of the good e-book platforms advertised, like Amazon Kindle, are not accessible outside Japan. The best one that does work is probably eBookJapan, and while it’s not perfect (the zoom feature is kind of awkward), it’ll do in a pinch. Here is what’s available:

You may be presented with a splash page titled 利用規約 (Terms of Use). It is simply explaining that you will be viewing copyrighted works and are not allowed to copy or do other bad things with them. Click the large button labeled 利用規約に同意する (I agree to the Terms of Use) to continue.

This free Yu-Gi-Oh! manga campaign is part of Shueisha’s “Haruman!! 2016” Spring Digital Manga Festival, which has been running since mid-March. The event offers readers the opportunity to check out over 130 manga for free for a limited time. Visit eBookJapan’s Haruman!! 2016 page to see the titles currently available and click the button labeled 無料で読む (Read For Free) to take a look at any of the books. There are a lot of neat series that are already published in English, like Nana, Seraph of the End, and Nisekoi, but there are also tons that aren’t!

Update: Ah, looks like the free Yu-Gi-Oh! books are available on Shonen Jump+ after all. Hooray!
