To celebrate the premiere of the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions movie this Saturday in Japan, Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital manga platform announced today that it is letting readers check out the entire Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! manga series for free for a limited time! The “Yu-Gi-Oh! 343-Chapter Free Campaign” will offer all of the chapters of one story arc each day this week. Each arc will be available for 24 hours. Volume 1 will be available for the entire week.

Check out the campaign’s website to read the manga. The covers that are lit up are the ones that are currently available.

The story arcs will be released at midnight (Japan Standard Time) on the following days:

  • April 18: Volume 1, Chapter 1 through Volume 2, Chapter 25 (School Arc)
  • April 19: Volume 3, Chapter 26 through Volume 4, Chapter 59 (Death-T and RPG Arcs)
  • April 20: Volume 5, Chapter 60 through Volume 9, Chapter 133 (Duelist Kingdom Arc)
  • April 21: Volume 10, Chapter 134 through 145 (Dungeon Dice Monsters Arc)
  • April 22: Volume 10, Chapter 146 through Volume 18, Chapter 278 (Battle City Arc)
  • April 23: Volume 19, Chapter 279 through Volume 22, Chapter 343 (Pharaoh’s Memory Arc)

If you’ve ever wanted to check out the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga in Japanese for free, here’s your chance! These chapters are available to everyone, not just to readers in Japan. And, they are the “bunko” editions (“bunkoban” — small-sized paperback edition), which haven’t been published in English and which include updated illustrations and text.
