Shueisha’s manga portal S-MANGA.net has uploaded a promo video announcing the arrival of the color edition of Kazuki Takahashi’s Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. The Japanese publisher is offering all 22 volumes of the digitally-colored Yu-Gi-Oh! “bunko” edition for 600 yen each (about $5.35) on several e-book platforms to readers based in Japan. The full-color series made its debut on April 1 — and wasn’t an April Fools’ joke!

Wow, does that video look gorgeous or what? Give it a gander once or twice — there are many freeze-frame-worthy moments in there!

  1. Viz, you know what to do!

But seriously, after the recent omnibus releases, should we even expect a localization of these?

  2. In my opinion, the odds of an English release are low right now because these are only being published digitally. But if they get print publications in Japan, I think the odds will improve.
