Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Casts Kana Hanazawa, Satoshi Hino

Actors Kana Hanazawa and Satoshi Hino with their characters Sera and Mani from Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions

Today, producers of the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions movie unveiled two more new characters and their voice actors! Kana Hanazawa will play Sera, a mysterious girl who accompanies the previously announced character Aigami, while Satoshi Hino will play Mani, an enigmatic man who travels with Aigami on a mission. (The romanized spelling of the characters’ names are not official.) Hanazawa and Hino are both prolific actors in the anime industry who have lent their voices to numerous lead and supporting roles.

Twenty-six-year-old Kana Hanazawa is well recognized for playing Akane Tsunemori in Psycho-Pass, Rize Kamishiro in Tokyo Ghoul, Kosaki Onodera in Nisekoi, and Mayuri Shiina in Steins;Gate.

Thirty-seven-year-old Satoshi Hino has played the popular characters Sai Yamanaka in Naruto Shippuden, Akito Takagi in Bakuman, Daichi Sawamura in Haikyu!!, and Yuji Sakai in Shakugan no Shana. Among Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, he is best known for voicing Vector and Rei Shingetsu in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL.
