Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's season 2 DVD box mock-up from Cinedigm

The second half of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s is coming to DVD! Today, Cinedigm added the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Season 2 DVD box set to its online catalog with a release date of September 8. Like its Season 1 set, this one is made up of four volumes, each with two discs, and is carried on Cinedigm’s Flatiron Film Company label. It includes the last 59 episodes of the English-dubbed anime.

“Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Season 2” is a region 1 release and has a suggested retail price of $44.99. The individual volumes of season 2 are not available for sale separately.

Cinedigm previously released Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Season 1 on DVD in January 2015. Season 1 of this series is also available for download on various platforms. The entire series is streaming for free (in English-dubbed and subbed formats) as well.

  1. Knew it, that they would only release episodes that have already been dubbed, but not any of the omitted episodes. Probably didn’t want to spend the extra studio time to finish the series in English. Even though 4K has been on a role, they still didn’t bother to provide fans with a complete 5D’s dubbed series. Sigh. Where are fandubs when you need them to fill in the gaps.

  2. I had a feeling Season 2 would just have episodes 65 to 110, 123 to 129 and 131 to 136. I’m gonna buy it anyway, but the only way for GX and 5D’s to get a complete dub is if 4K Media did an uncut redub from scratch, as I’d like to see them do an uncut dub for the whole franchise for DVD/Blu-ray releases and online. But even though those episodes of 5D’s aren’t dubbed, at least we have subs on Crunchyroll for that.
