Yu-Gi-Oh! gets the Jump Back spotlight in VIZ's Weekly Shonen Jump

Need an excuse to get VIZ Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine? Beginning in this week’s issue, WSJ is serializing four chapters of Kazuki Takahashi’s original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga as part of its Jump Back initiative where older series are spotlighted in the magazine.

Furthermore, VIZ is offering anyone who buys or renews a WSJ subscription the opportunity to win one of three copies of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Super Rare card Digvorzhak, King of Heavy Industry. Digvorzhak was the prize card for the 2012-2013 season and has yet to be reprinted. Purchases must be made between today, May 11, and June 7. Check the sweepstakes’ official rules for more details.

And finally, if you’re looking for a great deal on just the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, VIZ has been offering the first seven digital volumes in a special bundle over the past week. With a low, low price of $21 — that’s $3 an issue! — it’s certainly a deal worth checking out.

Weekly Shonen Jump launched its Jump Back initiative in its October 6, 2014 issue. Yu-Gi-Oh! joins the popular series Death Note, Naruto, Rosario + Vampire, and Claymore as having the distinction of being serialized as a Jump Back title.
