Joey om nom nom nom-ing on fruit in episode 8 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters

You think Wha-Chow! is the only good podcast in the world? I’m here to talk to you about the Bizarro Wha-Chow! initiative.

With Psyguy too busy to host his famed Wha-Chow! podcast yesterday evening, Little Kuriboh took the reins (or should I say took the initiative) and organized his own Bizarro Wha-Chow! — an hour of madness featuring many of the Wha-Chow! regulars. Missed the fun? No worries, the podcast was saved by the ever-generous Fox and can be downloaded via MegaUpload.

While the podcast was more or less one long-running joke, that didn’t stop LK from squeezing in some nice tidbits to get his fans excited. LK noted that attendees of SMASH! and AVCon in Australia would be treated to two new videos, all but confirming that he will be releasing a new episode of both Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged and the Naruto Abridged Spoof at the upcoming conventions. (Samuel L. Jackson will not be appearing at the end of either video, however.) He also joked about the possibility of doing a series of YGOTAS character ringtones (yes, do it!) and using a very special trollface Melvin gag in an upcoming episode.

LK Heads Back to Ireland

Yesterday, Little Kuriboh also uploaded a new promo video (on YouTube, announcing his return to Ireland! LK will be attending Nom-Con 2011 in Dublin, Ireland from August 5 to 7. Alongside him will be fellow abridger extraordinaire MasakoX, as well as voice actors Kyle Hebert and Veronica Taylor!

The Nom-Con promo is also available for download.

LK’s first and most recent trip to an Irish anime convention took place earlier this year in January when he visited Akumakon.

CardGamesFTW Returns… Early?

Today, Little Kuriboh’s main YouTube channel, CardGamesFTW, returned after being terminated on June 28. Curiously, the account has returned after only nine days, whereas all the previous reinstatements have always come after two weeks, regular as clockwork. Hmm, I wonder if that’s a significant difference… not that I’m complaining. CardGamesFTW has now been banned and restored five times.
