Can’t wait for 4Kids and Cinedigm to announce the list of theaters showing the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time movie? Maybe you don’t have to… Have you tried searching for theaters in your area? As it turns out, some already have their showtimes up! MovieTickets.com, Fandango, and Movie Showtimes on Google are good places to start.

Among the 30 largest metropolitan areas, only a few have theaters within 50 miles (hey, this is a limited release!) with showtimes already listed: New York, Dallas, Philadelphia, Houston, Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, and San Antonio. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t yet see any showtimes near you! The premiere is still over a month away and there are 250 prints of the film going to theaters throughout the U.S., so it’s just a matter of time before more information surfaces. Keep your eyes on the movie’s official website. 4Kids noted on Facebook (in the fifth reply down) that the site will link to a preliminary theater listing later this month.

Perhaps the most surprising thing this early search has uncovered is that some theaters are planning on showing the 10th anniversary movie as early as February 18! A few will even be running it for the entire week — February 18 through 25 — in addition to the four-day screening that was originally announced! What? Fo’ serious? 4Kids’ Duel of the Decade Sweepstakes did indicate that the winner would get to see the film sometime between February 19 and March 6 in New York, so I guess such a thing isn’t entirely unexpected. It’s also worth noting that many theaters will only be holding one screening per day, so if you already have your plans laid out for later next month, you may want to buy your tickets in advance to avoid any potential heartbreaks.

  1. Oh my gosh I can’t wait for this. Pretty sure my theater won’t be getting it, since I live pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but it would be so awesome if it did!!

  2. You never know, 250 theaters isn’t too bad at all for a limited release. Hope you get to see it on the big screen!

  3. I’m prepared to travel vast expanses to see this film… IN MY JUDAI COSPLAY! >~< It better be in St. Louis!

  4. Cosplay! Yup, I can definitely picture troupes of Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplayers coordinating amongst themselves and going all out for these screenings!

  5. Anyone know if there’s gonna be a Japanese with subs showing? I’d love to see the movie but I won’t bother if it’s just going to have 4kids plot rewrites and BGM changes.

  6. Nope, the showings will be English-dubbed.
