Little Kuriboh chats with Kanashimi of 91.8 The Fan in a brand-new interview that aired yesterday afternoon on the fledgling internet radio station. The pair discuss LK’s winning the Mashable’s Open Web Awards, his participation in other Abridged series, and the origins of Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged. LK also talks about the future of his show, as well as the conventions that he plans on attending this year. Will LK be abridging GX and 5D’s? What will he do once all of the episodes are abridged? Where can fangirls next catch a glimpse of the man himself? Tune in and find out!

Also worth listening to is an interview with Kroze that 91.8 The Fan conducted back at Anime Expo 2009. According to LK, Kroze has apparently traveled to around 20 conventions promoting the Series, all while hauling boxes of YGO: TAS T-shirts. Wow!

Launching in late 2009, 91.8 The Fan is a live internet radio station dedicated to anime media. LK’s interview, originally scheduled to be webcasted at 12 pm PST, ended up airing about half an hour earlier when the preceding guest, American voice actress Cristina Vee, canceled. This was LK’s eighth sit-down interview.

Aaaand, Little Kuriboh actually made a promo video for the interview: Celtic Guardian – 91.8 The Fan. Curses, I didn’t notice it until after the webcast had already concluded. “I am so frustrated!”
