[YGO: TAS] Episode 45 – Requiem For A Nyeh

The origin of Melvin is at last revealed in episode 45 of Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, released yesterday on YouTube! Clocking in at just a second under 11 minutes, it beats out episode 42 as Little Kuriboh’s longest YGO: TAS episode to date!
In episode 45, “Requiem For A Nyeh,” Ishizu brings to light the events that led Marik become who he is today: his first trip outside, his viewing of the “Kill Your Family Show,” his first yaoi comic… The episode also features a fantastically twisted spoof of Harry Chapin’s number-one hit “Cat’s in the Cradle.”
Towards the end of the episode, Melvin’s true allegiance is revealed, and he and Bakura prepare to face-off using ancient Egyptian lightsabers (Melvin’s appears to rise out of his crotch) to determine the fate of the show! Could the next episode be the last?! LK reminds us that it’ll be premiering at MAGFest 8. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
Watch Yu-Gi-Oh! Online: English-Dubbed Duel Monsters Episodes

“Don’t move a muscle or I’ll shoot you with my invisible gun!”
Oh, 4Kids…
Watch Yu-Gi-Oh! Online Week is kicking off with a bang! A brand-new page that indexes streaming English-dubbed Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes is this week’s first new addition to the site!
You’ll find that all of the episodes I’ve linked to are hosted on 4Kids’ own online media library at 4KidsTV.com and 4Kids’ channel on YouTube. Both are legal and official sources for streaming the dubbed Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes! Hooray! Unfortunately, the videos on 4KidsTV.com are currently only accessible to visitors residing in the United States. The videos on YouTube are available to all visitors outside of Asia, but, as of this writing, only a fraction of the episodes have been uploaded.
Unlike my index for the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters episodes, which divides the series roughly into its various story arcs, I’ve chosen to divide the dubbed episodes into five seasons in the same manner that 4Kids does.
If there’s one thing that 4Kids does really well, it’s that they provide an extensive streaming library of their shows. Even 4Kids haters can’t deny it. Few other entertainment companies are willing to put all of their properties online and provide as comprehensive a collection of full-length streaming videos as 4Kids. All of their shows can be watched online, anytime, at 4KidsTV.com (with the exception of shows like Ultimate Muscle that they don’t own streaming right to, of course). Now if only they would update their YouTube channel as frequently as their website!

Hot on the heels of the recently released trailer for the Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th anniversary movie comes… a trailer for the Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th anniversary abridged movie by Little Kuriboh! The trailer co-stars ShadyVox (of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Abridged) and Semisoma01 (of Gurren Lagann: The Satire, Bleach Abridged, and .hack// Abridged), both of whom do a fantastic job! Now this is a threesome I can get behind… in 3D no less!
[YGO: TAS] MAGFEST 8, Jan 1st – 4th

Earlier today, Little Kuriboh released a promo for MAGFest 8 — The Music and Gaming Festival — which he and many other gaming-related personalities and musicians will be attending early next year. What’s really cool about this short video is that it co-stars a professional voice actor: Jon St. John, who’s been the voice for the Duke Nukem character for over a decade! LK says he jumped at the chance to work with St. John after the voice actor offered to lend his voice for any MAGFest promos. Awesome!
LK first announced his upcoming appearance at MAGFest in early November. MAGFest 8 will be held in Alexandria, Virginia from January 1 to 4, 2010.
Elsewhere on the Internets, a YGO: TAS character recently made yet another cameo appearance in a video by a team member from That Guy with the Glasses. This time it’s Yami, who utters a now-famous line in a reference-filled episode of Linkara’s Atop the Fourth Wall! Once again I ask: is this canon?! ;)
[YGO: TAS] YGOTAS Sails Away

In a tribute that is both touching and humorous, the cast of Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series sings “Come Sail Away,” the hit 1977 ballad by Styx. Originally, only Yami was supposed to sing, says Little Kuriboh, but the whole thing kind of spiraled out of control. Believe me, LK, I don’t think anyone’s complaining!
LK has also provided an MP3 download of the song.
In other news, LK has alerted us via Twitter that Odion and Melvin make a cameo appearance in the latest episode of Familiar Faces! Is this canon?! Familiar Faces is a web series by CR of YGO: TAS-partner That Guy with the Glasses.

Marik and friends are at a certain Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan, where a new evil plan is being hatched and the appeal of Lost is being heavily debated! Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Marik, a Coiffio-esque Dartz and his motorcycle-riding henchmen have devised their own scheme to defeat Marik: do him — hard and thoroughly! This can’t end well. Check out Little Kuriboh’s Marik’s Evil Council 3 on YouTube! Do it for the love of Dan Green!
[YGO: TAS] Little Kuriboh interviewed on Otakast Radio
November 22, 2009 at 6:21 pm | In Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series | Leave a CommentTags: blogtalkradio, interview, littlekuriboh, youtube

Little Kuriboh just wrapped up a brand-new interview earlier this evening with Freek of the Otakast Radio Network. In addition to talking about the beginnings of Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series and some of his potential future plans, LK gives many interesting tidbits not discussed in his previous interviews. For example, did you know that LK was once interested in abridging Dominion Tank Police, one of the first anime shows that he got into, along with Tenchi Muyo? Or that he has considered working with a hentai series, minus the hentai, in an attempt to extract a coherent story from the show? (Seriously!) Did you know that there’s a Big Kuriboh?
One of the unique aspects of this interview was LK’s ability to field questions from a live chatroom audience, as well as from listeners who phoned in to the show’s hotline. This, of course, led to some bizarre moments and questions about pie flavors and someone who swore that he/she washed LK’s car. And naturally, a certain person had to call in repeatedly to deliver loud, flamboyant messages to LK.
The interview is available for streaming or downloading on the Otakast Radio Network, hosted on BlogTalkRadio. Give it a listen!
And be sure to also check out Little Kuriboh’s Otakast announcement video on YouTube!

[NTACFSSS] Episode 3 – FANSERVICE NO JUTSU~!
November 16, 2009 at 4:21 pm | In Other Stuff | 2 CommentsTags: littlekuriboh, naruto, youtube

“Bi-curious no Jutsu!”
This is surprisingly tame compared to what Naruto does next…
The third episode of Naruto: The Abridged Comedy Fandub Spoof Series Show, titled “FANSERVICE NO JUTSU~!” was released earlier today! Little Kuriboh says that this episode is the closest thing he’ll ever get to doing a real yaoi video. All the more reason we must watch it! Kirbopher, WhipOfAlchemy, WhiteAsh002, GanXingba, Yami Yugi, and David Bowie guest star. Yes, David Bowie. Oh gawd, I don’t know what I enjoyed more: the Naruto x Sasuke action or the Starman spoof…
