Dr. Alex Brisbane in Capsule Monsters episode 1
“My name is Dr. Alex Brisbane. I’m definitely not a villain.”

For the first time ever, Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters officially makes its way to YouTube! The first three episodes of this miniseries were added to 4Kids’ YouTube channel earlier today.

Capsule Monsters kicks off with Joey “Lucky Left Arm” Wheeler winning an exotic trip for four to India. While en route, the private jet carrying Yugi, Joey, Tea, and Tristan crashes in a jungle, where the gang then meets Alex Brisbane, a colleague of Solomon Muto. Brisbane reveals that Yugi’s grandpa vanished while the two of them were on an expedition in the legendary Pyramid of Alexander, conveniently located near the jet’s crash site. The gang visits Grandpa’s last known location and plunges dramatically into a giant map, landing in a world filled with real monsters! Yugi thinks they’ve become part of a real-life version of the Capsule Monsters board game… with the only way out being to win!

Head over to my Capsule Monsters streams page or YouTube’s Shows portal for direct links to the videos! Like all of the other Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes uploaded to YouTube by 4Kids, these are available to everyone outside Asia. Capsule Monsters has, up until now, only been streaming on Toonzaki and 4KidsTV.com for a U.S. audience.

The Capsule Monsters story arc takes place between episodes 198 (the end of the KC Grand Championship) and 199 (the beginning of the Dawn of the Duel). The episodes on YouTube, Toonzaki, and 4KidsTV.com are labeled using 4Kids’ numbering scheme — number 515 to 526.
